Can we fly direct to North Cyprus?

You can either fly direct to Ercan Airport in the North or Larnaca Airport in the South. Flights to the North however are required to touch down in Turkey on route , Please see our Flights guide for more information.

What are the costs involved, when purchasing a property in North Cyprus?

We recommend that you should budget for an extra 8% of the purchase price to allow for the extra fees involved in purchasing property. These will include legal fees , stamp duty , taxes and v.a.t. Please see our Buyers Guide.

When I have found the property I want , what happens next ?

You will need a Lawyer who will draw up a contract detailing the developer, the details of the property you want to buy and any other details you have agreed with the seller. We are happy to recommend the following Lawyers who will assist you with this.

Do I have to make a new will in Cyprus?

Only wills drawn up by a Lawyer and sealed by the courts within the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are recognised. We therefore strongly advise that you make a separate will for your property and estate in the T.R.N.C.

Can we use our own U.K lawyer?

No, for property contracts , registration and to draw up a new will you must use a lawyer in Northern Cyprus , Please see Lawyers.

If I buy a plot of land, do you have plans or designs etc?
